It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Opal Gonzalez of Summer Shade, Kentucky, born in Wheeling, West Virginia, who passed away on November 27, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Gonzalez and Helen Mitchell Kirk; and her brother John Gonzalez. She is survived by: her husband Harold Gonzalez; and her children, Joshua Gonzalez (Brittney) of Glasgow, Jody Melrose (Steven) of Summer Shade and Helen Tatchell (Dustin) of Elizabethtown. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many bonus family members.
