He was predeceased by: his parents, Lizzzie Laura Melton and Willie Capps (Bill); his wife Gail Huff Capps; his son Travis Capps; and his brothers, Gilbert and George Capps.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Brown (Jimmy) and Tabatha Jones (Stacy); his grandchildren, Makayle Goodman (Lindsey), Stephanie Polston (Brandy), Tylor Capps, Charity Smith (Heather), Jasmine Glascoe (Kyle), Chase Raney and Kaleb Edwards; and his friend Gerry Dennison. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren.
