In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Christie Dawn leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Christie Dawn may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Walker and Shirley Page Walker. She is survived by: her husband James Thompson; her children, Michael Trent Nathaniel Thompson and Michaela Allyson Rose Thompson; her sister Teresa Furlong of Eighty-Eight, KY; her niece Miranda Furlong Hampton (Aaron) of Eighty-Eight, KY; and her great-niece Aubrey Hampton.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 8:00 AM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home (2232 Summer Shade Rd, Summer Shade, KY 42166). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
