He is survived by: his wife Janie Lou Smith Simpson; his children, Greg Simpson (Melissa), Vonda Pace (Brad) and Theda Whitlow (Michael); his grandchildren, Gregory Ryan Simpson (Candice), Jarrod Wesley Simpson (Brittany), Sidney Elizabeth England (James Bishop), Quentin Tanner Pace, Sabashtyn Neal Bunch and Gregory Sawyer Mosby; his great grandchildren, June Hadley Simpson, Aida Wren Simpson, Sadie Josephine Simpson and Amelia Presley Bishop; his sister Martha Ellen Bowles; and his brother-in-law Edward Smith (Sheila). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
