He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Beard and Jo Beard. He is survived by: his wife Christine McLaughlin; his stepchildren, Michelle Rich (George) and Jamie Powell (Sean); his grandchildren, Chris, Taylor Bartow, Savannah Ward, Zane Powell and Claire Gunselman; and his siblings, William (Bill), Craig Beard Pam (Roseann) and Lynne Shepard.
