He is survived by: his children, Mcshane Garrett and Mahogany Staples (Derek); his siblings, Rendy Perkins (Ronnie Joe), Marketta Acree, Steve Garrett (Sandy), Mark Garrett (Alicia) and Kenny Garrett (Sheryl); and his grandchildren, Ella Kay and Stone Staples.
