She was predeceased by: her husband James Dosser Bacon (J. D.); her parents, Axie Beatrice Watson and John Latture Morrell; her siblings, Delores Geraldine Morrell, Joseph Willard Morrell and Harold Davis Morrell; her parent-in-law Noble Bacon (Virginia); and her brother-in-law William Thomas Bacon (Betty).

She is survived by: her sister Royce Morrell Smith; her son Mark Stephen Bacon; her grandsons, Matthew Stephen Bacon, Joseph Lucas Bacon, Alexis and Leeland Sanders; her daughter Rev. Patricia Bacon Tipton (Fred Lynn); her granddaughter April Dawn Tipton Harmon (Chris); her great grandchildren, Dillen, Joanna and Gabe Harmon; and her brother-in-law Jerry Bacon (Judy).
