He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hunigan, Sr. and Louise Bod Hunigan; his grandparents, Mack and Fannie Bond; and his sisters, Elaine Frazier and Sue Morrell.

He is survived by: his wife Zella Hunigan; his son Bill Hunigan (Talli); his grandchildren, Grayce, Ruby, Daphne, Barrett, Baxter and Ally; and his siblings, Becky Greer (Bob), Pat Harkelroad and Roy Hunigan, Jr..
