He was predeceased by: his parents, Paulena Johnson, (Kersey) and Clem Johnson, Sr.; and his siblings, Orvil Johnson, Kenneth Johnson (Ella Mae), Robert Johnson (Dean) and Dorothy Johnson Pollard (George).
He is survived by: his brothers-in-law, James Howard, L. C. Martin and Howard; his nephew Little Clem Johnson; his wife Janice; his children, Lateef Johnson (R. T. Greenwell) of Henderson and Ain Johnson (Stevie) of Sturgis, KY; and his siblings, Virginia Barnes of Florida, Anna Lane of Dayton, OH, Martha Daniel (James) of Milwaukee, WI, Linda Brown (James) of Louisville, KY, Elizabeth Curry (Thomas) of Morganfield, KY and Clem Johnson (Mable) of Morganfield, KY. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
