He was predeceased by: his parents, C. D. "Pete" and Carmie Mills of Morganfield; and his wife Bessie Collins Mills. He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Hollis (Ronnie) of Sturgis, KY, Nancy Arnold of Tell City, IN and Connie Felty (Tim) of Henderson, KY; and his grandchildren, Darren Sheffer (Kylie) of Evansville, IN, Rachel Sheffer of Henderson, KY, Corey Felty (Brittany) of Cave City, KY, Zack Felty (Brooklyn) of Tennessee and Sydney Felty of Evansville, IN. He is also survived by 7 Great Grandchildren.
