He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion "Cotton" Adamson and Julia Adamson; his wife Janice; and his siblings, Burnice, Bee Daily, Robert, Alton, Francis "Hodge", Charles, Richard, Roger "Pud", Gene Adamson and Florine "Sis" Johnson.
He is survived by: his sisters, Dorothy "Dot" Timmons of Morganfield and Julia "Mae" Moore of Evansville, IN; and his sister-in-law Agnes Adamson of Evansville, IN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
