It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Butts (Sturgis, Kentucky), who passed away on January 22, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Gene was loved and cherished by many people including: wife Sandra of Sturgis; children, Debra Benson of Evansville, Jeff Benson (Ann) of Fenton, MO and Vincent Butts (Anne) of Adrian, MI; grandchildren, Cassie Schmidt (Adam), Drew Campbell (Ashley), Caleb Head (Melissa), Cadee Butts, Greyson Butts, Will Benson and Harper Benson; and great grandchildren, Hannah, Alex and Henry Schmidt.
