She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Earl and Margaret Louise Cornwell Dempsey; her husband Maurice "Moe" Smith; and her son Lance Smith. She is survived by: her children, Ashley Nalley (Craig) of Henderson, KY and Eric Smith (Kristi); and her siblings, Danny Dempsey (Rita) and Shirley Stewart. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren 1 Great Grandchild.
