He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Doris Neely (Strunk) and Robert A. Neely Sr.; his parents-in-law, Judy Branscum (King) and Thomas Lenville Branscum; and his close friends, Jack Wilson and Louis Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Sandi Neely (Branscum); his children, Thomas E. Neely of Strunk, Danielle Neely of Strunk and Robi Terry; his siblings, Robert A. Neely II of Loveland, Ohio and Pamela Neely of Pine Knot, KY; his brother-in-law Thomas Branscum of Buffalo; his brother Nick Cox (Lisa) of Georgia; his nephews, Matthew Laxton (Brandy) of Indiana and Ethan Laxton (Roxie) of Whitley City; his cousin Hap Strunk; his friend Jim McCarroll; his close friends, Mike Rollins (Sherry) of Pine Knot, Bob Gomes of Somerset, Kevin Williams of Nancy and Nick Glasgow; his son Willie (Sharon Godsey); and his pet Molly.
