With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Louise Slavey of Strunk, Kentucky, who passed away on December 31, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Virgil John Wood; her stepmother Reba Wood; her husband John Slavey; her children, Calvin Miller, Thomas Miller and Glenda Sue Miller; and her siblings, Theo, Larry, Nicholas, Timothy Wood, Julie Elaine Wood, Lela Florence Wood and Linda Sue Wood.
She is survived by: her children, David Miller (Rita) of Stearns, Rick Miller (Jacklyn) of Whitley City, William Miller of Stearns, Chris Slavey (Deliah) of Strunk, Rose Hill (Richard) of Pine Knot and Willa Miller "Twitty" of Stearns; and her siblings, Ancil Wood, Lonnie Wood, Willa Fay Lay (James), Lois Jeannette Wood, Reba Vicki Lesh (John) and Wanda Diane Myers. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
