He was predeceased by: his parents, George Arnold Taylor and Margie Marie Coffey Taylor; his sister Vonda Kidd; and his brother-in-law Alvis Privett. He is survived by: his wife Eva; his daughters, Tracy Jones (Daniel) and Sherry Coffey (Curtis); his siblings, Conley Taylor (Wanda), Coy Taylor (Jeany), Charles Taylor (Rhonda), Kenny Taylor, Alonzo Taylor, Katherine Stephens, Wilda Douglas (Howard), Sharon Taylor, Betty Watson (Larry), Karen Watters (Larry) and Shirley Bryant (Lawrence); his siblings-in-law, Hurstle Privett (Cheryl), Ronnie Privett (Joan) and Nancy Privett; his grandchildren, Jarrod Stephens (Stephanie), Cody Stephens (Samantha) and Christopher Coffey; and his great grandchildren, Madison, Aytumn, Ava, Cameron, Hunter and Matthew. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
