He was predeceased by : his father Loyd Wilson; his daughter Alice; his son-in-law Charles Rose; his granddaughter Ashlee Rose; and his siblings, Jim, Phil Wilson, Wanda Thompson, Joyce and Lois Trammell.

He is survived by : his wife Charlotte Wilson (Neal); his children, Ronald Slaven (Lori) of Pine Knot and Danielle Neely; his grandchildren, Charles Rose (Tiffany), Michael Slaven (Autumn), Brittany Braden (Randell), Brittany Salla and Mary Stephens (Kenneth); his great grandchildren, Raylen Ridner, Brantlee Strunk, Gus Ridner, Kendal Rose, Archie Rose, Seresity Braden, Matthew Salla, Madyson Salla, Isabella Stephens, Destany Stephens and Kay Kay Privett; and his child Tuckie.
