He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Luke Meadows and Jewel Meadows (Neal); his brother Anthony Wayne Meadows; and his sister-in-law Belinda Meadows. He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Meadows; his children, Alicia Meadows, Mary Bowling (Barney) and Lucas Meadows (Heather); his grandchildren, Emmanuel, Samuel, Hadlee, Sawyer and Catherine; and his nephew Stephen Gilreath. He is also survived by his family, going hunting with his son, and supporting his grandchildren.
