He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester King and Gladys "Davis" King; and his siblings, Arnold King, Don King, Gene King, Ronnie King, Denvil King, Sue Chitwood, Shirley Chambers, Patsy Worley and Patricia "Sissy" Heath.
He is survived by: his wife Imogene Ball King; his children, Charles Ray King (Teresia) of Pine Knot, KY. and Wendy Taylor (Clint) of Pine Knot, KY.; his siblings, Chester Lynn King (Darla) of Pine Knot, Gail King of Pine Knot, Kathy (Richard Crabtree) of Winfield and Gwena (Anthony Byrd); his grandchildren, Chelsey King, Sarah Taylor, Abigayle Taylor and Tiffany Stephens (James); his great grandchildren, Nathan Stephens and Mason Stephens; and his brother-in-law Luther Ball.
