He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Hurley and Grace New Hurley; his son Scotty Hurley; his brother Jimmy Hurley; and his pet Angel.
He is survived by: his wife Sadie Hurley of Stopover, KY.; his daughters, Melissa Adkins (Bennett) of Stopover, Elizabeth Juanita Hurley of Stopover, Tammy Rayburn (Ronnie) of Stopover and Misty Lester (Todd) of Stopover; his siblings, Junior Hurley of Stopover, KY., Billy Joe Hurley of North Carolina, Rosalee Maynard of Stopover, KY., Betty Lee of Freeburn, KY., Amy Maynard of Edgarton, W. V. and Darlene Hurley; and his close friend Tom Tom. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
