He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Daugherty and Beatrice Daugherty (Blankenship); his daughter Andrea Coleman (Daugherty); his father-in-law Jimmy Dotson; and his siblings, Bobby Daugherty, Nancy Hurley, Bonnie Harvey and Ilene Daugherty.
He is survived by: his wife Jimetta Daugherty (Dotson) of Stopover, KY; his children, Jonathan Daugherty of Stopover, KY and Brittany Scronce (Chad) of Morganton, NC; his mother-in-law Analo Dotson of Phelps, KY; his son-in-law Chris Coleman of Independence, KY; his grandson Trevor Coleman of Independence, KY; his siblings, Melinda Daugherty of Stopover, KY and Kenny Daugherty of Phelps, KY; his sister-in-law Trish Tiller (George); and his close friend Terry "Lurch" Stump of Phelps, KY.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
