It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice Sue Hensley of Stopover, Kentucky, born in Meador, West Virginia, who passed away on November 14, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Smith and Mable Smith (Carter); and her brothers-in-law, Millard Hensley, Ross Hensley, Elliott Hensley, Andrew Hensley and Cecil Hurley.
She is survived by: her niece Teresa Hensley; her husband Malcolm Hensley of Stopover, KY; her children, Steven Hensley (Canella) of Stopover, KY, Kyle Hensley (Sasha) of Canada, KY and Tammy Compton (Brian) of Beech Creek; her siblings, Ronald Smith (Eleanor) of Majestic, KY, Gary Smith, Benny Smith (Trish) of Stopover, KY, Kenneth Smith (Lois) of Stopover, KY, Wanda Hensley, Danford Hurley of Stopover, KY, Beulah Hensley of Stopover, KY, Elaine Davis (Wilson) of Charleston, WV and Lillian Dotson (Johnny) of Majestic, KY; her grandchildren, Tate Compton (China), Faith Compton and Eric Blankenship; and her great grandchildren, Kyeson Hensley, Millie, Mia Compton, Marlee, Miles Compton and Kingston Hensley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
