He is survived by: his wife Harlene Brock Smith; his children, Rashell Smith of Georgetown, Steven G. Smith of Harlan, Melissa and Tim Johnson of Miracle, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Tristan Johnson, Braydon M. Smith and Bryleigh L. Smith; his sister Carolyn Collett of Salyersville, Kentucky; his niece Helen Blanton; and his great-niece Makenzie Blanton. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
