He was predeceased by: his wife Louella Hunt; and his sister Connie Bevins. He is survived by: his children, Brian Cigar Hunt of Waxahachie, Michelle Harris of Stone, Melissa Hunt Stout of Palmer, Pete Hunt (Cindy) of Morgantown, W. V and Richard Harris Hunt of Stone; his siblings, Charlene Bradley of Huntington, W. V, Geneva Moon (John) of Stone, Rhonda Stacy (Dwight) of Belfry, Darlena Berry (Colen) of Williamson, W. V, Patsy "Penny" Hunt of Belfry and Jeffrey Hunt of Charleston, W. V; his grandchildren, Amberley Hunt Tims (Jarred), Morgan Hunt, Emily Stout Forrest (William), Matthew Stout and Teddi Kuhn; and his great grandchildren, Luna Hunt, Ava Tims and Liam Forrest.
