He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. "Jimmie" Lewis and Minnie Joseph Lewis; and his siblings, Cowley Allen, James Andy, John L., Dwayne Lewis and Rita Lewis Wilcox.

He is survived by: his daughter Callie Lewis; his sisters, Marjorie Napier (Ed), Rhoda Kilburn (Jeffrey) and Mary Farler (Carl); and his cousin Johnny Lewis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
