He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hurt (Dobbs) of Stearns, Kentucky; his daughter Teresa Hurt of Stearns; and his siblings, Carolyn Slagle (Kay) of Monticello, Dianna Messamore (Marty) of Monticello, Kentucky, Charles Hurt (Mary) of Attica, Jerry Hurt of Monticello and Stanley Sharp of Monticello. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
