We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2025, at the age of 38, James Michael King Jr. of Stearns, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, James Michael shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James Michael farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Woodrow, Zelma Coffey, Denzil and Laura Jane King. He is survived by: his parents, Mike King of Stearns and Amelia "Millie" King (Coffey) of Marshes Siding, Kentucky; his children, Maddox Lane King of Whitley City, Keiston Jax King of Whitley City, Lynex Preslee King of Whitley City and Tucker James King of Revelo, Kentucky; and his sister Stephanie Davis (Denny).
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the McCreary County Funeral Home (48 State Hwy 700, Whitley City, KY 42653). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
