He was predeceased by : his father Michael Burke. He is survived by : his mother Loretta Burke (Garland) of Stearns, Kentucky; his daughter Iris Smith of Whitley City; his siblings, Harley Burke of Stearns, Davon Burke of Berea, Kentucky, Jessica Burke (Jason Fahey) of Shelbyville and Jennifer Burke-Bryant (Greg) of Berea, Kentucky; his nieces and nephews, Raigan Privett, Taylor Privett and Michael Burke; and his close friend Leroy Bremiller.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the McCreary County Funeral Home (48 State Hwy 700, Whitley City, KY 42653). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
