He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Coffey and Dorothy Coffey (Coffey); and his brother Dester Coffey. He is survived by: his wife Irene Coffey (Branscum) of Stearns, Kentucky; his children, Steve Coffey (Sylvia McGinnis) of Stearns, Kentucky, Deborah Slaven (Gordon) of Stearns, Kentucky, Rodney Coffey (Tonya) of Stearns, Kentucky and Angela Coffey of Stearns, Kentucky; his siblings, Boyce Coffey (Bessie), Jesse Coffey, Ganel Dressback, Sue Shoopman (Orville Junior), Orville Coffey (Bonnie), Norma Inman and Darrell Coffey; his grandchildren, Michael Coffey, Brian Coffey (Katlyn), Ashlyn Slaven, Tristan Slaven and Tanner Slaven; and his great grandchildren, Ivory Coffey, Astrid Coffey and Magnus Coffey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
