She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilburn Watson and Melvina Boyd Watson; and her siblings, Donald, Manuel, Larry Watson, Marie Lewis and Lois Frasure.

She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Boyd (Scottie) of Pikeville, KY; her siblings, Jesse Watson, Polly Anna Bolen, Linda Ratliff, Lucy Howell and Connie Jo Poulter; her grandchildren, Rebecca, Michael and Sara Boyd; and her great grandchild Rosie Boyd.
