It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Lee Wallen (Stanville, Kentucky), who passed away on March 9, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Wallen and Lula Wills Wallen; his former wife Aileen Depriest Wallen; and his brothers, Clarence D. Wallen, Richard Wallen and Woodrow Wallen.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Wells Wallen; his sons, Daniel Edward Wallen (Gaye) of Ashburn and Ronald Anthony Wallen (Susan) of Stanville, Kentucky.; his siblings, Sam Wallen of Lakeside and Mary Marler of Boise; his grandchildren, Heather Wallen Hammond (Breck) of Allen, Shawn Wallen (Becky) of Stanville, Nancy Wallen of Sterling and Brian Wallen (Crystal) of Sterling; and his great grandchildren, Byron Hammond, Kevin Hamilton, Hunter Hammond, Ethan Hammond, Anthony Wallen, Alayna Wallen, Daphne Naylor, Travis Naylor, Emma Angel Wallen, Austin Wallen, Breck Hammond, Shawn Wallen, Brian Wallen and Jeff Wallen.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in his memory to Bluegrass Care Navigators, 57 Dennis Sandlin MD Cove, Hazard Ky 41701.
