She is survived by: her children, Judy D'Avanzo, Brenda Sammons, Deanie Sturgill (Tim), Gary Newsom and Teresa Akers; her brother James "Jimmy" Stratton (Billie); her grandchildren, Brooke Walters (Shadd), Amanda Sammons, Joie Lynn Sammons, Katie Crocker (Cary), Alex D'Avanzo, Luke Sturgill, James Sturgill, Samantha West (Will), Julianna D'Avanzo, Preston Newsom and Kailyn Akers; and her great grandchildren, Tate Walters, Brooklyn Coleman, Olivia Hinkson, Gabriella Walters, John Hinkson, Asher West and Liam West.
