She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer M. Reed of Stanton; her parents, John D. Atkinson, Jr. and Mina Strange Atkinson; and her brothers, Malcolm Eugene Atkinson and Joe Thomas Atkinson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Gail Nolan and Lana Morehead (Scott) of Stanton; her grandchildren, Chris Nolan, Melanie Barnes (Chris Knox) and Nicholas Barnes (Toni); her stepgrandsons, Jon Morehead (Lori) and Nick Morehead; her great grandchildren, Teghan, Hana, Chris Knox, Jaxon, Londyn and Anistyn Barnes; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Olivia Donathan and Bianca Morehead; her aunt Helen F. Brush; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Reed of Norton, VA and Bonnie Reed of Stanton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
