She was predeceased by: her father Carl Cecil Drake; her son Zack Anthony Charles, Jr.; and her granddaughter Danika Leighton Charles. She is survived by: her mother Rachel Roberts Drake of Stanton; her close friend Shane Kennon; her daughters, Jessica Charles (Jerry Burnham) of Mt. Sterling and Emily Charles (Justin Powell) of Winchester; her brothers, Carlton Drake (Carolyn) of Stanton and Charles "Punkin" Drake of Stanton; and her grandchildren, Madison Pearle Ledford, Anna Grace Charles, Isabella Saye Charles, Palmer Gray Charles, Owen Barrett Powell and Logan Anthony Powell.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hearne Funeral Home, Inc. (125 W College Ave, Stanton, KY 40380). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
