He was predeceased by: his parents, George Overbee and Ida Watkins Overbee; his siblings, Ollie Overbee, J. D. Overbee, Gladys Haddix, Janlee Graham, Mary Combs, Gertrude Combs and Dorothy Scott; and his grandchild Jamie Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Joyce Rogers Overbee of Stanton; his daughters, Debbie Cummins of Mt. Sterling, Sheila Sama (Frank) of Hendersonville, Shelda Watts of Stanton and Sereace Covey of Stanton; his stepsons, Greg Haddix of Middletown, Barry Bryant (Winna) of Clay City, Darryl Bryant (Tina) of Independence, Keith Bates of Stanton and Marty Bates (Sarah) of Erlanger; and his grandchildren, Dustin Miller, Jason Sama, Justin Sama, Marie Edwards, Laura Watts, Daniel Watts, Jonathan Covey, Gregory Haddix, Jennifer Singer and Jeremy Haddix. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
