He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Pelfrey and Etta Pelfrey; his son Anthony Gabbard; and his siblings, Darrell Pelfrey, Ronnie Pelfrey and Barbara Pelfrey.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Pelfrey; his children, Landon Pelfrey, Patricia Fouch (Landon), Jessica Ledford (Joseph) and Keeli Goodwin; and his siblings, Bill Pelfrey (Rose), Lisa Blythe (Phillip) and Anne Wagers. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.
