She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Ballard and Dena Bond Ballard; her husband Oren J. Lane; her sons, Oren Lane and Dwight Lane; her siblings, Carl Ballard, William Ballard and Anna Howard; and her grandchildren, Logan Profitt and Jessica Lynn Lane.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Lane (Sharon) of Clay City and Charlotte Profitt (Keith) of Stanton; her brother Everett Ballard of Clay City; her grandchildren, Patricia Marie Lane, Amanda Hart (D. J.), Megan Knox (Chris), Cheyenne Cox (Michael), Josh Branham (Mara) and Steven Branham (Candace); her granddaughter-in-law Sarah Profitt; and her great grandchildren, Crosby Cox, Wandella Paige Profitt, Stevie Branham, Jansen Branham, Mason Branham, Zoey Robinson, Makenzie Barnett, Jackson Barnett, Floyd Lawson, Sophie Knox, Hana Knox, Christopher Knox, Teghan Knox, Carter Hart and Anthony Hart.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hearne Funeral Home, Inc. (125 W College Ave, Stanton, KY 40380). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at the Lane Cemetery.
