It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lizzie Townsend (Stanton, Kentucky), born in Versailles, Kentucky, who passed away on December 17, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robert Townsend and Lillie Rogers Townsend; her husband Reece Baber; her children, Gary Baber and Alma Louise Trent; and her grandchild Dana Combs.
She is survived by: her daughter Lillie Combs (Danny) of Clay City; her grandchildren, Danita Farmer (Darren) of Stanton, Shannon Brewer (Jeff) of Clay City, Salena Spencer (Jimmy) of Stanton and Bud Wireman (Cristy) of Prestonsburg; her great grandchildren, Brandon Farmer (Kristin), Brooke Haddix (DJ), Brett Farmer, Jaxen Brewer, Linsey Shanks, McKenna Wireman, Hannah Peters, Katelyn Peters, Kyla Nolan and Darbi Nolan; and her great great grandchildren, Lydia Farmer and Zaiden Kirby.
