It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Skidmore of Stanton, Kentucky, born in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, who passed away on October 14, 2020, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Skidmore and Barbara Mildred Swartz Skidmore. She is survived by: her children, Landen Skidmore of Stanton, Kristen Trent of Clay City, Allison Trent (Myles Ashley) of Stanton, Brianna Trent of Clay City and Mackenzie Rogers (Hunter Bloom) of Stanton; her siblings, John Sherman Skidmore (Karen) of Clay City, Joan Willoughby of Mt. Sterling, Ginnie Maynard (Johnny) of Stanton and Margarette Skidmore (Chris Sparks) of Jeffersonville; and her grandchildren, Hensley Trent, Cashlen Booth and Wyatt Ashley.
