He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Tipton and Letha Tipton; his wife Virginia Napier Tipton; and his children, Wallace Tipton, Wayne Tipton, Tina Tipton and Rena Tipton.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Keith Tipton (Tracy), Patricia Kay Tipton and Beverly Sue Hall; his siblings, Clarence "Doc" Tipton (Mary), Mae Knox and Ladonna Tharpe; his grandchildren, Alishia Hon (Danny), Jason Townsend, Allen Glen Tipton, Ryan Tipton, Jon Tipton (Janice), Tiffany Pasley, Erika Tipton and Austin Pierce; and his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Bryce, Rylan, Sawyer, Erianna and Hensley.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home (777 W College Ave, Stanton, KY 40380). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
