He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Smith; and his siblings, Clarence Steven Smith and Mary Ann Smith. He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Smith (Rollie Carpenter); his stepsons, Matthew Vires and David Vires; his brother Mark Shannon Smith (Kim); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson, Sophia Carpenter and Rollie J. M. Carpenter.
