He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hudson and Edna Margie Burris Hudson; his wife Alwena Spangler Hudson; his daughter Wavelene Jane Cardona; his great grandchild Haley Marcum; and his brothers, Bobby Hudson, Dwight Hudson and Roy Clay Hudson.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Hector Cardona (Stanton); his granddaughters, Tammy Marcum (Johnny) and Kristie Fields (Jack); his siblings, JaVota Treadway and Dudley Hudson; his nieces, Dawn Treadway and Elizabeth Treadway; and his great-nieces, Hannah Sorrell of Mt. Sterling and Morgan Woosley of Mt. Sterling. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
