He is survived by: his wife Josephine Rogers Lawson of Stanton; his children, Steven Ray Lawson (Melody) of Stanton and Connie Newsome (Jeff) of Stanton; his siblings, Kenneth Tommy Lawson of Richmond, Troy Lawson of Stanton and Brenda Sue Lawson of Stanton; and his sister-in-law Madonna Lawson of Lafayette. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
