He is survived by: his wife Patsy Ann Hurt; his children, Wendall (Roslynn), Paul Hurt, Mary Ann Beasley (Jack) and Linda Kay Yeary (Michael); his brothers, Willie (Pat), Sherman (Devon), Charlie, Bill (Sandy), Darley (Jennifer) and Bob Hurt (Pauline); and his grandchild Rekisha.
