She is survived by: her husband Arnold Clay Townsend; her children, Damon Spencer (Tanya), April Ritchie, Renee Spencer, Sabrina Spencer and Destiny Bradshaw; her stepdaughters, Amy Pittman (Jeff) and Regina (Jerry); and her siblings, Lawrence Watkins (Leesa), Jimmy Watkins (Darlene), Billy Watkins (Shannon), Terry Morris (Connie), Wilma Watkins, Hattie Hatton, Rosie Arnett, Betty West (Chuck) and Nancy Spencer (Tim). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
