Though Darlene Kay may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, French Hough Thorpe and Gladys Sparks Thorpe; and her brothers, Floyd "Fuzzy" Thorpe and Daniel Gale Thorpe. She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Angela Thorpe of Mount Blanchard, Cindy Thorpe Hart of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, Justin Thorpe (Whitney) of Jeffersonville, Jason Thorpe (Conni) of Ferdinand, Bradley Thorpe of Stanton, Brandon Thorpe (Sarah) of Frenchburg, Kevin Thorpe of Mt. Sterling and Allen Thorpe of Covington.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Harvestime Assembly Ministries (460 E College Ave, Stanton, KY 40380).
