He was predeceased by: his father Clinton Barnett; his brother Durwin "Buster" Barnett; and his brother-in-law Gary Baber. He is survived by: his mother Ava Snowden Barnett; his wife Belinda McCoy Barnett; his son Zachary Barnett; his daughter-in-law Melinda Barnett; and his siblings, Terecia Baber, Belinda Lynn (Randy), Mark Barnett (Billie) and Morris Barnett (Linda). He is also survived by sixteen nieces and nephews, and six great nieces and nephews.
