She was predeceased by: her parents, Omer Meadows and Gladys Thorpe Meadows; and her siblings, Jerry, Coe, Ray, Forest Meadows, Phyllis "Tillie" Crowe, Emma Lou McKinney, Betty Faye Caudill and Delores Jane Riffe.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth "Goat" Rice; her sons, Kenneth "Kenny" and Chad Rice (Janice); her sister Judy Howard; her grandchildren, Jacey Maple Joplin (Adam), Emmalyn Rice and Ellee Rice; her great grandchildren, Theo Harper and Cameron River Maple; and her pet Pearl Rice.
