With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Calvin McDaniel of Stanton, Kentucky, born in Campton, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 11, 2024 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy McDaniel and Viola Ashley McDaniel; and his former wife Lavonna Lee McDaniel. He is survived by: his wife Karen Joyce McDaniel of Stanton; his children, Terry McDaniel (Amy) of Stanton and Misty Bailey (Robbie) of Stanton; his stepchildren, Danny Yeary of Nada, Collin Martin of Nada, Brian Martin of Stanton, Ashley Martin of Stanton and Rebecca Martin (Eli Jackson) of Clay City; his son Bruce Townsend (Courtney) of Middletown, Ohio; and his grandsons, Trevor Jones and Nathaniel Mays. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren.
