He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Shouse and Carly Fox Shouse; his stepdaughter Kathy Cunningham; and his siblings, James Shouse, Conley Shouse, Joe Shouse, Roy Shouse, Gladys Wagner, Lovie Brinkman, Inez Butt, Mary Clems and Lucille Towe.

He is survived by: his wife Sheila Shouse; his daughters, Karen Moore (John) of Washington State and Bobbie Lynn Humfleet of Florence, Kentucky; his sister Betty Conley of Xenia, Ohio; his grandchild Casey Sizemore (Cody); and his great grandchildren, Isaiah Sizemore, Elijah Sizemore and Josiah Sizemore. He is also survived by numerous other great-grandchildren.
